Nottingham Forest have secured a multi-year partnership with worldwide financial services company Marex, which will now appear on the front of their shirts.
The agreement names Marex as the club’s principal partner, with the company’s logo appearing on the front of Forest’s men’s and women’s playing kits and replica shirts, as well as on the Nottingham Forest Netball Team’s uniforms.
According to the club, Marex branding will also be visible at the City Ground during matchdays and across their online channels for the coming season. The timing of the announcement coincides with the start of the 2026/27 campaign, as Oliver Glasner’s side prepare to face Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.
In comments regarding the arrangement, Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis expressed his pleasure at bringing Marex on board as the front of shirt partner. He noted that Marex is an ambitious global enterprise with an established reputation for excellence and performance, values he said mirror the club’s own aspirations. He added that this collaboration represents another significant milestone in the club’s ongoing development and that they anticipate building a productive working relationship together.
Further guidance will be issued for supporters who have already purchased this season’s replica kits regarding the option to have the Marex branding added. Marex succeeds bookmaker Bally’s in the front of shirt sponsorship role.
Forest initially partnered with Bally’s ahead of last summer for the 2025/26 season. However, new Premier League regulations now prohibit clubs from featuring betting companies on the front of their matchday shirts.
In their announcement, Forest highlighted that with the men’s first team entering its fifth consecutive Premier League season and both the women’s and netball sides competing in their respective top divisions, the timing was ideal to join forces with Marex. The club pointed out that Marex similarly prides itself on a history of consistent growth and expansion into new markets.
Marex operates as a diversified global financial services platform, offering market access, infrastructure and vital liquidity to customers across commodity and financial markets worldwide. The company maintains over 50 offices and employs more than 3,000 staff across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Under the partnership, Marex will serve as the club’s Global Markets Partner and hold exclusive rights to provide foreign exchange and additional financial services.
The firm has expressed dedication to promoting greater female participation in financial services careers, with the sponsorship of the women’s team forming a key part of this commitment. Forest and Marex will collaborate on raising awareness of career opportunities for women throughout the financial services sector while also creating schemes to enhance financial literacy in the local community. The club and Marex also intend to work together on various supporter-focused activities throughout the upcoming season and beyond.
Marex chief executive Ian Lowitt commented that the company has developed its worldwide operations by cultivating trusted, lasting relationships with clients and expanding alongside them. He observed that the partnership with Nottingham Forest, a club with a distinguished history and clear ambition to perform at the highest level, would bring Marex and its wide-ranging services to an even broader international audience. He expressed genuine enthusiasm about collaborating with Forest and supporting their objectives, much as the firm supports its clients in reaching theirs. He noted that high performance, ambition and teamwork are shared values that provide a solid basis for the partnership, marking an important stage in Marex’s continued evolution and that they look forward to their shared accomplishments.
